Privacy Policy

REEF Scuba (“we”, “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what the website reef-scuba.org collects and why. Separate policies cover our OceanView Tab extension and the Coral Spawning Tracker app.
Information you give us
When you sign up for our newsletter or send us a form (contact, volunteering, collaboration, podcast guest, screening or press requests), we store what you enter so we can respond to you. We use it only for that purpose and for the newsletter if you opt in. We never sell or rent your information.
Donations
Donations are processed by our payment partner (Zeffy). Card details go directly to them and never touch our website. Their privacy policy applies to the payment itself; we receive your name, email and gift details so we can issue receipts and thank you.
Website analytics
We measure how the website is used with our own privacy-friendly analytics. It does not use cookies, does not track you across other websites, and does not store your IP address. We record pages viewed, the referring website, approximate location (country and city, worked out from the network connection), device type and clicks on buttons, so we can improve the site. A random session identifier is kept in your browser’s session storage and is deleted when you close the tab.
Embedded content
Podcast and video players (Spotify, Vimeo, YouTube) load only when you click play. Once loaded, those services may collect data under their own policies.
Your choices
You can unsubscribe from our newsletter at any time using the link in each email, or ask us to access, correct or delete the information we hold about you by emailing info@reef-scuba.org.
